대한씨름협회가 주최하고 문경시씨름협회와 문경시체육회가 공동 주관하는 이번 대회에는 전국에서 선수 500여 명이 출전해 체급별 장사 타이틀을 놓고 경쟁을 펼친다.

경기는 소백급과 태백급, 금강급, 한라급, 백두급 등 모두 5개 체급으로 진행된다. 체급별 장사 결정전은 ▲7월 31일 소백장사 ▲8월 1일 태백장사 ▲8월 2일 금강장사 ▲8월 3일 한라장사 ▲8월 4일 백두장사 순으로 열린다.

소백장사 결정전은 7월 31일 오후 2시 50분부터 오후 5시 20분까지 진행되며, 태백장사와 금강장사 결정전은 각각 8월 1일과 2일 오전 10시 20분부터 오후 12시 50분까지 치러진다. 이어 한라장사와 백두장사 결정전은 8월 3일과 4일 오후 2시 50분부터 오후 5시 20분까지 열릴 예정이다.

The weight class championships will be held in the following order: Sobaek Jangsa on July 31, Taebaek Jangsa on August 1, Geumgang Jangsa on August 2, Halla Jangsa on August 3, and Baekdu Jangsa on August 4.

The Sobaek Jangsa championship will take place on July 31 from 2:50 PM to 5:20 PM. The Taebaek and Geumgang Jangsa championships will be held on August 1 and 2, respectively, from 10:20 AM to 12:50 PM.
