【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 오는 8월 22일 청라국민체육센터에서 ‘2026년 대구 중구 청소년 그림그리기대회 및 청소년 어울림마당’을 개최한다. 다양한 체험 프로그램과 특별강연까지 더해 청소년들의 창의력과 문화 감수성을 키울 수 있는 축제로 꾸며질 예정이다.

중구청에 따르면 이번 행사는 오전 9시 30분부터 오후 3시까지 펼쳐지며, 중구가 주최하고 중구청소년문화의집이 주관한다. 그림그리기대회는 유치부부터 초등 저학년·고학년, 중등부까지 4개 부문으로 나뉘어 진행된다. 또 가족이 함께 참여할 수 있는 체험 프로그램도 마련돼 참가자들이 다채로운 활동을 즐길 수 있다.

그림그리기대회 참가 신청은 8월 3일부터 14일까지 중구청소년문화의집 홈페이지에서 사전 접수만 받는다. 현장이나 단체 접수는 진행하지 않는다. 주제는 ‘이상화 시인에게 보여주고 싶은 중구’, ‘AI가 대신할 수 없는 나의 1분’, ‘다섯 번째 계절, 나만의 계절’ 가운데 당일 현장에서 1개가 선정돼 발표된다.

수상자는 모두 72명으로, 대상 4명, 최우수상 12명, 우수상 16명, 장려상 20명, 입선 20명을 시상하며, 대상 수상자에게는 대구광역시교육감상이 수여된다.

이날 행사장에는 중구청소년지도협의회와 삼덕동 우리마을교육나눔 추진위원회, 중구보건소 등이 함께하는 체험부스도 운영된다. 참가자들은 각 부스에서 퀴즈와 미션을 진행하며 기념품을 받을 수 있다. 또한, EBS 강사이자 유튜브 채널 ‘효린파파’를 운영하는 강사의 특별강연도 준비돼 있다.

Registration for the drawing contest will be accepted exclusively via pre-registration on the Jung-gu Youth Culture Center website from August 3 to August 14. On-site or group registration will not be accepted. One theme will be selected and announced on-site on the day of the event from among ‘Jung-gu I Want to Show Poet Lee Sang-hwa,’ ‘My One Minute That AI Cannot Replace,’ and ‘The Fifth Season, My Own Season.’

A total of 72 winners will be selected: 4 Grand Prize winners, 12 Top Excellence Prize winners, 16 Excellence Prize winners, 20 Encouragement Prize winners, and 20 Honorable Mention winners. The Grand Prize winners will be presented with the Daegu Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education Award.

Experience booths jointly operated by the Jung-gu Youth Guidance Council, the Samdeok-dong Our Village Education Sharing Promotion Committee, and the Jung-gu Public Health Center will also be set up at the venue. Participants can receive souvenirs by completing quizzes and missions at each booth. Additionally, a special lecture by an EBS instructor and operator of the YouTube channel ‘Hyolin Papa’ is scheduled.

Jung-gu Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha stated, “We are doing our best to prepare for the event so that youth can fully showcase their talents and passions and create special memories with their families,” adding, “We hope for the participation of many youth and citizens.”
