이번 행사는 오는 8월 5일부터 7일까지 사흘간 진행되며, 오랜 시간 전 세계 관객들의 사랑을 받아온 미야자키 하야오 감독의 대표 애니메이션 3편을 무료로 선보인다. 상영 작품은 첫날 '센과 치히로의 행방불명', 둘째 날 '하울의 움직이는 성', 마지막 날 '이웃집 토토로'로 구성됐다.

영화는 행사 기간 매일 오전 10시 30분, 오후 2시 30분, 오후 6시 30분 등 하루 세 차례 상영된다. 별도의 사전 예약 없이 선착순으로 입장할 수 있으며, 좌석이 모두 찰 경우 또는 상영이 시작된 이후에는 입장이 제한된다.
