2026대구세계마스터즈육상경기대회 조직위원회(이하 조직위)는 3일 대구시청 동인청사에서 ㈜쓰리에이치, ㈜줌랩과 공식 후원 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이날 협약식에는 추경호 대구시장 겸 조직위원장과 정영재 ㈜쓰리에이치 대표, 정진욱 ㈜줌랩 대표, 진기훈 조직위 사무총장 등이 참석해 대회의 성공적인 운영과 지역 상생을 위한 협력 의지를 다졌다.
㈜쓰리에이치는 세계 최초 경혈지압 온열침대를 개발한 헬스케어 전문기업으로, 국내외 시장에서 기술력을 인정받고 있는 기업이다. ㈜줌랩은 연구개발 역량을 바탕으로 아이디어를 실제 제품과 기술로 연결하는 위탁 연구개발 전문기업이다. 두 기업 모두 대구혁신도시 첨단의료복합단지와 연구개발특구 의료R&D지구에 입주해 지역 의료산업 발전에 기여하고 있다.

한편 2026대구세계마스터즈육상경기대회는 오는 8월 21일 개막식을 시작으로 9월 3일까지 13일간 대구스타디움 일원에서 열린다. 대회 기간에는 34개 종목의 경기가 진행되며, 대구스타디움 서편광장과 스타디움몰(칼라스퀘어)에서는 ‘Athletes’ Holiday in Daegu’를 주제로 공연, 체험 프로그램, 푸드존, 플리마켓 등 다양한 부대행사가 마련될 예정이다.
