【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청소년회관이 운영한 청소년 독도 탐방 프로그램 ‘부키의 마블-독도편’이 참가 학생들의 독도 입도를 성공적으로 마치고 성황리에 종료됐다.

이번 프로그램은 지난 7월 29일부터 31일까지 2박 3일 일정으로 진행됐으며, 지역 중·고등학생 16명이 참여했다. 북구청소년회관은 지역 학교들과 협력해 업무협약을 맺은 학교 학생들에게 우선 참여 기회를 제공했다.

학생들은 독도에 올라 독도의 역사와 문화, 생태 환경을 직접 체험하며 생생한 현장 교육을 경험했다. 평소 교실에서는 쉽게 접할 수 없는 활동들을 통해 우리 영토의 소중한 가치와 자연환경을 이해하고, 공동체 의식도 다졌다.

북구청소년회관 관계자는 “청소년들이 독도를 직접 둘러보며 올바른 역사관을 갖고, 다양한 현장 체험을 통해 더 넓은 시야로 성장할 수 있도록 프로그램을 구성했다”고 밝혔다.

이근수 북구청장은 “2년 연속 진행된 독도 탐방이 지역 청소년들에게 올바른 역사관을 심어주고 공동체 의식을 기르는 데 뜻깊은 계기가 됐길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들이 다양한 경험을 통해 폭넓게 성장할 수 있도록 현장 교육 프로그램을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The "Bookie's Marvel - Dokdo Edition," a youth Dokdo exploration program operated by the Daegu Buk-gu Youth Center, concluded with great success after the participating students successfully landed on Dokdo.

Buk-gu District Mayor Lee Geun-su said, “I hope that the Dokdo tours, held for two consecutive years, served as a meaningful opportunity to instill a correct historical perspective in local youth and foster a sense of community,” adding, “We will continue to expand field education programs so that youth can grow broadly through diverse experiences.”
