또한 “폭염과 가뭄 등 복합재난에 대비한 통합 대응체계를 구축해야 하며, 중앙정부와 지방정부, 관계기관이 재난 정보를 실시간으로 공유할 수 있는 시스템 마련도 중요하다”고 강조했다.
아울러 “무더위쉼터 운영과 취약계층 보호 대책이 실제 현장에서 제대로 작동하는지 꼼꼼히 점검하고, 미흡한 점은 즉시 개선해야 한다”며 현장 점검의 필요성도 짚었다.
이들은 “국민의 생명을 지키는 것보다 중요한 국가는 책무는 없다”면서 “기후위기 시대에 걸맞는 국가 재난관리체계를 구축하는 데 힘을 모아야 한다”고 덧붙였다.
