【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시 보건소가 의료 접근성이 낮은 지역 어르신들의 건강한 생활을 지원하기 위해 찾아가는 통합 건강관리 프로그램을 운영한다.
문경시 보건소 농암면 보건지소는 8월 6일부터 10월 15일까지 화산2리 마을회관에서 65세 이상 어르신을 대상으로 ‘건강누리 프로그램’을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
지난 6일 열린 프로그램 개강식에는 황재용·김남희 문경시의원과 보건소장, 농암면장, 마을 이장 및 부녀회 관계자, 주민 등이 참석해 어르신들의 건강한 노후와 프로그램 운영을 응원했다.
‘건강누리 프로그램’은 어르신들의 신체·정신 건강 증진을 위한 통합형 건강관리 사업으로, 계절성 감염병 예방과 심뇌혈관질환 관리, 치매 예방교육 등 건강 정보를 제공한다.
또한 신체 기능 회복을 위한 운동 활동과 테이핑 요법, 비누공예 체험, 스트레스 관리, 디지털 교육 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 어르신들이 즐겁게 참여할 수 있도록 구성했다.
농암면 보건지소는 교통 여건 등으로 의료·복지 서비스 이용이 어려운 지역 주민들을 위해 직접 마을회관을 찾아가는 방식으로 프로그램을 운영한다. 주 1회씩 총 10회에 걸쳐 보건교육과 상담, 건강관리 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
문경시 보건소 관계자는 “어르신들이 일상적으로 생활하는 마을회관에서 건강교육과 예방 서비스를 함께 제공해 스스로 건강을 관리하는 데 도움을 드리고자 한다”며 “앞으로도 지역 주민의 의견을 반영한 다양한 보건사업을 추진해 어르신들이 건강하고 활기찬 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
