【브레이크뉴스 경산】진예솔 기자=경산지역 청소년들이 지역 예술가의 작업실에서 직접 작품을 만들어보는 문화예술교육 프로그램이 시작된다.
경산문화관광재단은 지난 7일 경산청년창의창작소에서 ‘2026 꿈의 스튜디오 경산’ 오픈 워크숍을 열고, 본격적인 사업 추진을 알렸다고 10일 밝혔다.
‘꿈의 스튜디오 경산’은 문화체육관광부와 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 주최하는 프로그램이다. 아동과 청소년들이 지역 예술가의 작업실을 직접 찾아가 실제 창작 환경을 경험하고, 자신의 아이디어를 작품으로 구현할 수 있도록 돕는다.
이 사업은 단순히 미술 기법을 익히는 데 그치지 않는다. 시각예술을 바탕으로 디지털과 첨단 기술을 접목한 다양한 창작활동이 펼쳐지는 점이 특징이다.
수업은 8일부터 12월 12일까지 매주 토요일 진행된다. 참여 청소년들은 지역 예술가들과 함께 시각예술의 기초와 심화 과정을 배우고, 프로젝트형 창작활동을 통해 자신만의 작품을 만들어간다.
연말에는 청소년들이 그동안 만든 창작물을 시민들에게 선보이는 결과 전시도 마련될 예정이다.
이날 오픈 워크숍에는 청소년과 학부모, 예술가, 기획자, 지역 기관 관계자 등 60여 명이 참석해 사업의 취지와 운영 방향을 함께 들었다.
특히 경산문화관광재단과 영남대학교 예술대학이 지역 문화예술교육 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 맺고, 프로그램 개발과 운영에서 협력하기로 했다.
양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 지역의 문화예술 자원과 전문성을 연계하고, 청소년을 위한 창작 프로그램을 함께 만들어가기로 약속했다.
경산문화관광재단은 이번 사업을 통해 청소년들이 수동적으로 배우는 교육에서 벗어나, 직접 질문하고 실험하며 결과물을 만들어내는 창작의 주체로 성장하길 기대하고 있다.
또 지역 예술가들에게는 작업 공간과 전문성을 청소년들과 공유하는 계기가 되며, 지역 대학과 문화 기관이 함께하는 새로운 문화예술교육 모델도 만들어질 전망이다.
재단 관계자는 “청소년들이 전문 예술가의 작업실에서 진짜 창작의 과정을 경험하고, 자신의 생각을 마음껏 표현할 수 있도록 프로그램을 준비했다”며 “지역 예술가와 대학, 문화기관이 함께하는 지속 가능한 문화예술교육 기반을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

A cultural arts education program is set to begin, allowing youth in the Gyeongsan region to create artworks firsthand in the studios of local artists.
The Gyeongsan Culture & Tourism Foundation announced on the 10th that it held an open workshop for the "2026 Dream Studio Gyeongsan" at the Gyeongsan Youth Creative Workshop on the 7th, signaling the official launch of the project.

Classes will be held every Saturday from the 8th to December 12th. Participating youth will learn basic and advanced visual arts courses alongside local artists and create their own unique works through project-based creative activities.
An exhibition showcasing the creations made by the youth to the public is also scheduled for the end of the year. Approximately 60 people, including youth, parents, artists, planners, and officials from local institutions, attended the open workshop held on this day to hear about the purpose and operational direction of the project.
In particular, the Gyeongsan Culture & Tourism Foundation and the College of Arts at Yeungnam University signed a memorandum of understanding to revitalize local culture and arts education and agreed to cooperate in program development and operation.
Through this agreement, both organizations pledged to link local cultural and artistic resources and expertise, and to jointly develop creative programs for youth.
The Gyeongsan Culture & Tourism Foundation hopes that through this project, youth will move away from passive learning and grow into active creators who ask questions, experiment, and produce results themselves.
Furthermore, this serves as an opportunity for local artists to share their workspaces and expertise with youth, and is expected to create a new culture and arts education model involving local universities and cultural institutions.
A foundation official stated, "We have prepared a program that allows youth to experience the real creative process in professional artists' studios and freely express their thoughts," adding, "We will build a foundation for sustainable culture and arts education where local artists, universities, and cultural institutions work together."
