서구청은 오전 대구염색산업단지관리공단에서 산단 업종 제한 완화를 위한 간담회를 열고, 관리공단과 입주업체, 다이텍연구원 관계자 등과 의견을 나눴다.

대구염색산단은 오랜 시간 염색·섬유업종 중심으로 운영돼 왔다. 하지만 최근 산업 구조 변화와 함께 가동률이 떨어지고 경영 여건도 악화되면서, 업종 다변화의 목소리가 커지고 있다.

이날 간담회에서는 업종 제한 완화가 왜 필요한지, 앞으로 어떤 업종까지 허용할 수 있을지, 환경과 안전 기준은 어떻게 마련할지, 기존 입주업체와 새롭게 들어올 업체 간 상생 방안, 산단 경쟁력 강화를 위한 제도 개선 방향 등이 다양하게 논의됐다.

특히 대구시가 대구정책연구원을 통해 올해 11월까지 염색산단 입주업종 제한 완화 연구용역을 진행하기로 한 가운데, 서구청은 이번 간담회에서 나온 현장 의견을 연구용역과 향후 정책 마련에 적극 반영하겠다는 방침이다.

권오상 서구청장은 “염색산단이 과거의 울타리를 넘어, 전통 섬유산업과 미래형 산업이 함께 성장하는 공간으로 변모해야 한다”며 “업종 제한 완화가 기업 유치와 일자리 창출, 산업단지 경쟁력 강화로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이어 “기존 입주업체와 근로자들의 목소리도 충분히 반영해, 환경과 안전은 지키면서 지역과 산업단지가 함께 성장할 수 있도록 합리적인 방안 마련에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

In particular, with Daegu City deciding to commission a study through the Daegu Policy Research Institute to ease restrictions on business types for the Dyeing Industrial Complex by November of this year, the Seo-gu District Office plans to actively incorporate the on-site opinions raised during this meeting into the study and future policy formulation.

Seo-gu District Mayor Kwon Oh-sang stated, “The Dyeing Industrial Complex must transcend the boundaries of the past and transform into a space where traditional textile industries and future-oriented industries grow together,” adding, “We will do our utmost to ensure that the easing of business restrictions leads to attracting companies, creating jobs, and strengthening the competitiveness of the industrial complex.”

He further remarked, “We will strive to devise reasonable measures that fully reflect the voices of existing tenants and workers, ensuring that the region and the industrial complex grow together while protecting the environment and safety.”
