이번 챌린지는 3일부터 15일까지 13일간 모바일 걷기 앱 ‘워크온’에 개설된 청도군 커뮤니티 가입자를 대상으로 진행된다. 참가자들은 챌린지 기간 동안 누적 8만 1,500보 이상을 달성해야 하며, 하루에 최대 1만 보까지만 인정된다.

참여자는 단순히 걷는 것뿐만 아니라, 챌린지 게시판에 ‘나라사랑’을 주제로 한 응원 메시지를 남기면 모든 미션을 완료하게 된다. 목표를 달성한 사람들 가운데 추첨을 통해 100명에게 상품이 주어진다.

참가를 희망하는 군민은 워크온 앱을 설치해 ‘청도군 커뮤니티’에 가입한 뒤 챌린지에 참여하면 된다. 걸음 수는 앱을 통해 자동 집계된다.

현재 가입자 619명 중 255명이 이번 걷기 챌린지에 동참하고 있다.

박권현 청도군수는 “광복절을 맞아 걷기를 통해 나라사랑의 의미를 다시 한 번 생각해보는 시간이 됐으면 한다”며 “앞으로도 군민 여러분의 건강과 지역사회 발전을 위해 다양한 걷기 프로그램을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 당첨자 발표와 상품 수령 안내는 챌린지 종료 후 청도군 커뮤니티와 공식 채널을 통해 공지될 예정이다.
