【브레이크뉴스 경산】진예솔 기자=경북 경산시가 2027년도 정부 예산안을 둘러싼 국회 심의를 앞두고 지역 핵심 국책사업 예산을 확보하기 위한 적극적인 행보에 들어갔다.
경산시는 31일 시청 대회의실에서 조지연 국회의원과 함께 ‘2027년도 국책사업 점검회의’를 열고, 주요 국비사업 추진 현황과 국회 심의에 대비한 전략을 논의했다.
이날 회의에서는 정부안에 반영되지 않았거나 추가 예산이 필요한 사업들을 중점적으로 살펴봤다. 국회 심의 단계별로 대응 방안을 마련하기 위해서다.
논의된 사업에는 미래 성장동력 확보를 위한 모빌리티·로봇 전환과 국도 4호선(대구 혁신~하양 남하 단구간) 확장, 대부잠수교 재가설, 서부권 노후 하수관로 정비 같은 광역 교통망 및 정주 여건 개선 사업이 포함됐다.
이와 함께 현흥1지구 배수개선, 자인공설시장 제2주차장 조성, 전통시장 육성 등 시민 생활과 밀접한 민생 사업들도 점검 대상에 올랐다.
경산시는 이번 회의를 시작으로 국회 심의 기간 동안 사업별 우선순위를 정하고, 예산 증액 논리를 세워 대응 수위를 높일 계획이다. 또 국회와 중앙부처를 상대로 단계별 설득 작업에도 나선다는 방침이다.
조지연 국회의원은 “논의된 예산들이 국회 심의에서 최대한 반영될 수 있도록 국회 차원의 역량을 집중하겠다”며 “앞으로도 지역 현안과 연계된 국비 사업을 지속적으로 발굴하고 육성해 달라”고 당부했다.
조현일 경산시장은 “지역 발전의 핵심 사업들이 국회에서 누락되지 않도록 마지막까지 국회의원과 긴밀하게 협력해 국비 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
경산시는 국회 심의 과정에서 각 사업의 필요성과 지역에 미칠 효과를 적극적으로 설명하고, 정부안에 빠진 사업이 추가 반영되도록 힘쓸 계획이다. 동시에 주요 계속사업의 예산 증액을 위해서도 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
