【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교가 재직자 대상 AI·디지털 역량 교육 운영 능력을 공식적으로 인정받아 '2026년 AI·D 선도대학'에 선정됐다. 대학은 한의학, 한방, 식품, 화장품 등 지역의 특화산업에 AI와 디지털 기술을 접목한 실무 중심 교육을 확대해, 지역 산업의 디지털 전환을 뒷받침한다는 계획이다.

지난 4일 서울 중구 페럼타워에서 열린 ‘2026년 재직자 AI·D 집중과정 관계자 연수’ 현장에서, 대구한의대는 교육부와 국가평생교육진흥원으로부터 AI·D 선도대학 현판을 전달받았다.

이날 연수는 집중과정에 참여하고 있는 대학들 간 협력을 강화하고, 사업 운영 매뉴얼과 품질관리 기준을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다. 현판 수여식과 더불어, 국고보조금 회계관리, 감사 사례, 1차년도 우수 운영사례 발표 등 다양한 프로그램도 함께 진행됐다.

대구한의대는 지난해 ‘AID 30+ 집중캠프’와 ‘AID 묶음강좌’에 이어, 2026년에도 ‘AID 묶음강좌’ 사업에 연속 선정되면서 관련 분야에서 두각을 나타내고 있다. 올해 AI·D 선도대학으로는 전국에서 13개 대학이 이름을 올렸다.

대학 측은 이번 연수를 통해 공유된 운영 노하우와 품질관리 기준을 향후 교육 프로그램에 적극 반영하겠다는 방침이다. 특히 한의학, 한방, 식품, 화장품 등 지역 산업현장의 요구를 반영한 맞춤형 AI·디지털 교육을 강화해 재직자들의 실무 역량을 키우는 데 중점을 둘 예정이다.

대구한의대는 이러한 노력을 통해 지역 기업의 디지털 기술 활용도를 높이고, 재직자의 능력 강화를 통한 지역 산업 경쟁력 향상에도 힘을 쏟겠다는 목표다.

장정현 대구한의대 AID30+집중캠프사업단장은 “AI·D 선도대학 현판 수여는 재직자 AI·디지털 교육에서 쌓아온 대구한의대의 역량을 공인받은 의미”라며 “앞으로도 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 실무형 교육을 내실있게 제공해, 경북 지역 산업의 디지털 혁신과 재직자 역량 강화에 적극 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

The training session was organized to foster cooperation among participating universities and to share operational manuals and quality control standards. In addition to the plaque presentation, the event featured various programs, including sessions on state subsidy accounting management, case studies on audits, and presentations of outstanding operational examples from the first year.

Daegu Haany University is distinguishing itself in this field, having been selected for the "AID Course Package" project for 2026, following its participation in the "AID 30+ Intensive Camp" and "AID Course Package" last year. A total of 13 universities nationwide were named AI·D Leading Universities this year.

The university intends to actively incorporate the operational know-how and quality control standards shared during the training into its future educational programs. In particular, it plans to focus on enhancing the practical skills of incumbent workers by strengthening customized AI and digital training that meets the specific needs of local industries—such as Korean medicine, herbal medicine, food, and cosmetics.

Through these efforts, Daegu Haany University aims to increase the utilization of digital technology among local enterprises and boost the competitiveness of regional industries by enhancing the capabilities of the workforce. Jang Jeong-hyun, Head of the AID30+ Intensive Camp Project Group at Daegu Haany University, stated, "The awarding of the 'AI·D Leading University' plaque signifies official recognition of Daegu Haany University's capabilities in AI and digital education for incumbent workers." He added, "We will continue to provide high-quality, practical training that can be immediately applied in the field, thereby actively contributing to the digital innovation of industries in the Gyeongbuk region and the enhancement of workforce competencies."
