성 의원은 “자립준비청년에게 필요한 것은 거창한 특혜가 아니라 당연한 가족 울타리를 대신해 줄 최소한의 사회적 안전망”이라며, “방 한 칸, 일자리 하나, 도움을 청할 수 있는 사람 한 명과 실패해도 다시 도전할 수 있다는 사회적 믿음을 만들어가야 한다”고 당부했다.
