영주시에 다르면 이날 포럼은 ‘코로나19’ 상황과 관련해 유튜브를 통해 실시간 생중계로 진행된 이날 포럼은 이도선 영주시정책자문위원장이 좌장을 맡아 경제·농업·교육·문화·관광·복지 분야별 지역 오피니언 리더가 참여해 새로운 미래 100년 영주시가 나아가야 할 방향과 전략을 모색하기 위해 마련됐으며, 참석자들은 ‘코로나19’ 확산 방지를 위해 마스크 착용, 발열체크 등 방역수칙을 준수하며 진행됐다.

이날 참석한 분야별 오피니언 리더는 ▲경제분야 김철진 경북전문대 교수 ▲농업분야 홍연웅 동양대 교수 ▲교육·문화분야 배용호 전 영주교육장 ▲관광분야 김장환 (사)영주시관광협의회장 ▲복지분야 도광조 동양대 교수가 참여해 미래 100년 영주를 위한 분야별 협력 모델 구축 방안을 제언하고 영주 발전을 위해 시에 바라는 정책을 제시했다.

또한 이날 포럼은 실시간 유튜브 생중계를 통해 영주시 발전 방향에 대해 시민들과 함께 소통하고, 시민 영상 질의·답변과 실시간 댓글 답변 시간을 가져 양 방향 소통의 장이 만들어졌다.
