【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동상공회의소(회장 이대원) 경북북부지식재산센터가 2024년도 사업 수행 성과평가에서 우수한 성과를 인정받아 지난 2월 28일, 세종 코트야드 바이 메리어트에서 열린 ‘2025년 지역지식재산센터 총괄워크숍’ 시상식에서 ‘특허청장상’을 수상하며 2020년부터 2024년까지 5년 연속 ‘우수센터’로 평가받았다.

경북북부지식재산센터는 2024년 한 해 동안 ‘중소기업 IP 바로지원’ 사업을 통해 지역 중소기업의 특허, 브랜드, 디자인 경쟁력 강화를 위한 51건의 지원사업을 진행했으며, ‘IP나래 프로그램’을 통해 신규 창업기업 23개사의 기술·경영 융복합형 IP 역량 강화를 지원했다.

또한, ‘IP디딤돌 프로그램’을 통해 예비 창업자 92명을 대상으로 지식재산 교육을 진행하여 특허출원 29건, 후속지원 5건, 신규창업 22건을 성과로 거두었다. 2024년에는 신규사업인 ‘글로벌 IP스타기업 육성’ 사업으로 3개 수출기업에 대한 역량 강화 사업도 14건을 지원했다.

센터는 또한 지역 특화 산업을 중점 지원하여 기업들의 강소기업 성장을 도모했으며, 경북북부중장년내일센터, 구미전자정보기술원, 경북창조경제혁신센터, 경북청년창업사관학교, 안동대학교, 가톨릭상지대학교 등과 협력하여 다각화된 기업지원 정책을 펼쳤다. 또한, 산업단지 내에서 6건의 ‘찾아가는 IP 서비스’를 추진하며, 기업 현장의 애로사항을 직접 발굴하고 컨설팅을 진행한 결과, 우수센터로서의 성과를 인정받았다.

강기훈 경북북부지식재산센터장은 “기업의 IP 역량 강화를 통해 경제 위기를 극복하고 안정적인 매출과 고용 창출로 지역 경제 발전을 선도할 수 있도록 적극 지원할 것”이라며, “지원 분야를 점차 확장하고 지역 유관기관과의 협업을 통해 지식재산 생태계를 구축하는 데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

In 2024, the Gyeongbuk Northern Intellectual Property Center carried out 51 support projects to strengthen the patent, brand, and design competitiveness of local SMEs through the 'SME IP Direct Support' project, and supported the strengthening of technology and management convergence IP capabilities of 23 new startups through the 'IP Narae Program'.

In addition, through the ‘IP Stepping Stone Program’, intellectual property education was provided to 92 prospective entrepreneurs, resulting in 29 patent applications, 5 follow-up support, and 22 new startups.
