이는 ㈜서한의 역대 최대 수주액으로, 건설 경기의 불황 속에서도 다년간 축적해온 시공역량과 사업수행 경험, 그리고 내실 중심의 경영을 바탕으로 거둔 의미 있는 성과로 평가된다.

전년대비 영업이익도 265억원에서 625억원으로 증가하였으며 당기순이익도 131억에서 289억원으로 크게 증가해 수익성이 크게 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 부채총계 또한 전년 8,560억에서 6,927억원으로 1,630억원 이상 감축하여 한층 강화된 재무안정성을 확보했다.

㈜서한은 지난해 분양경기 침체 속에서도 오송역 서한이다음 노블리스를 성황리에 준공 및 입주를 완료하였으며, 대구도시철도 4호선(엑스코선) 1·2공사, 대전도시철도 2호선 5공구, 조야~동명 광역도로 건설공사 등 철도·도로 분야에서 공공공사를 수주하며 안정적인 일감을 확보했다. 공동주택분야에 있어 신내4 공공주택지구 조성과 대명LH참여형 가로주택정비, 구미 공단동 호텔개발 등 민간도급공사(재개발 포함), 남양주 진접2지구 S-1블럭 등의 자체 공동주택 공사 등 다양한 건설영역에서 수주를 했다.

올해는 지난해부터 강화해온 사회간접자본(SOC)를 더욱 굳건히 다질 뿐만 아니라, 차세대 기술을 적극적으로 검토하여, 기술력을 효과적이고 효율적으로 적용시킬 예정이다. 또한, 무리한 외형 확대보다는 사업성, 안정성, 수행가능성을 종합적으로 고려한 우량 사업확보에 집중함과 동시에 주택사업 경쟁력을 유지하는 한편, 공공공사와 토목, 개발사업 등 다양한 분야에서 균형 있는 사업 포트폴리오를 구축하겠다고 밝혔다.
