최근 기상청이 발표한 3개월 기상 전망에 따르면 이번 겨울철 기온은 예년과 비슷하겠지만 12월과1월 기온의 변동성이 클 것으로 예상됐다.

특히 따뜻했다가 큰 폭으로 기온이 떨어지는 경우가 많을 것으로 예상돼 철저한 관리를 당부했는데이에 서한 이다음봉사단은 지역의 에너지 빈곤 사각지대 해소를 위해 이번 봉사활동을 계획했다.

㈜서한 김병준 전무는 "몸도 마음도 추운 겨울에 지역민들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보내는데 작은 손길이나마 보탤 수 있어 기쁘다."라며"앞으로도 사회 곳곳에 자리한 소외된 이웃들을 외면하지 않고 온정을 나누는 일에 최선을 다하겠다."라고 말했다.

한편 2014년 12월 출범한 서한 '이다음봉사단'은 출범 이후 사랑의 밥차, 김장 봉사, 빵 나눔 봉사, 수해 복구 봉사, 환경미화 봉사 등 도움이 절실한 자리에 꼭 필요한 손길이 되길 바라는 마음으로 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있는 봉사활동을 기획, 시행하고 있다.

특히 2006년부터 매년 실시하는 '국가유공자 노후주택보수지원사업'과 대구광역시가 주최하는 '범시민동고동락 집수리 사업'에도 참여해 취약주택 무료보수 봉사활동도 시행하고 있다.
