이번 평가에서 ‘매우 우수’ 등급은 발주청 1곳과 시공자 5곳만이 선정돼 그 의미를 더했다. 서한은 2025년 창사 이래 최고 수주액을 달성한 데 이어, 건설 현장에서 가장 기본이 되는 안전 관리 역량을 공식적으로 인정받게 됐다.

건설공사 참여자의 안전관리 수준평가는 건설 현장의 자율적인 안전관리 활동을 제고하기 위해 2017년부터 시행됐으며, 2019년부터 평가 결과가 대외적으로 공개되고 있다. 평가 대상은 총공사비 200억 원 이상 공공 발주 건설공사 참여자로, 공정률 20% 이상 현장을 보유한 발주청과 시공자, 건설사업관리 용역사업자 등이 포함된다.

2025년도 평가는 전국 283개 현장, 366개 참여자(발주청 및 시공자)를 대상으로 실시됐다. 평가 항목은 △안전전담 조직 구성 △관련 법령에 따른 업무 수행 △자발적 안전점검 활동 △위험요소 확인 및 제거 지원 활동 등 153개 세부 지표와 건설 현장 사망자 수를 종합적으로 반영해, 평가등급위원회 심의를 거쳐 ‘매우 우수·우수·보통·미흡·매우 미흡’의 5개 등급으로 산정됐다.

서한은 시공자 안전관리 수준 평가에서 △안전경영시스템 △관련 법령에 따른 안전책무 △건설재해 예방을 위한 자발적 활동 △유해·위험요인 제거 활동 등 4개 분야를 중심으로 평가를 받았으며, 본사 30%와 현장 70%를 반영한 종합 점수 98점을 획득해 ‘매우 우수’ 등급에 이름을 올렸다.

이와 함께 서한은 2023년과 2024년 안전보건공단의 건설업체 산업재해 예방 실적 평가에서 2년 연속 100점을 달성했으며, 2024년에는 종합건설사 가운데 비수도권 최초로 KOSHA-MS(안전보건경영시스템) 인증을 취득하는 성과를 거뒀다.

Participants in public construction projects with a total construction cost of KRW 20 billion or more are eligible for the evaluation, including client organizations, contractors, and construction management service providers with a construction site progress rate of at least 20%.

The evaluation criteria included 153 detailed indicators, including the establishment of a dedicated safety organization, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, voluntary safety inspections, and support for identifying and eliminating hazards. After deliberation by the Evaluation and Rating Committee, the evaluation was graded into five categories: "Very Excellent," "Good," "Average," "Insufficient," and "Very Insufficient."

Seohan received evaluations focusing on four areas: "Safety Management System," "Safety Responsibilities in Compliance with Relevant Laws," "Voluntary Activities to Prevent Construction Accidents," and "Activities to Eliminate Hazards and Risks." Seohan achieved a total score of 98 points, with 30% from headquarters and 70% from the field, earning the "Very Excellent" rating.

In addition, Seohan achieved a perfect score of 100 for two consecutive years in the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's construction industry accident prevention performance evaluation in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, it became the first general construction company outside the Seoul metropolitan area to obtain KOSHA-MS (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) certification.
