위덕대학교가 위탁운영 중인 울진군 어린이급식관리지원센터(센터장 이지현 외식산업학부 교수)는 지난 6일 ‘2021 우리 가족 파티시에!’를 진행했다고 9일 밝혔다.

위덕대학교에 따르면‘우리 가족 파티시에!’사업은 가족들과 함께 저당 케이크를 만드는 사업으로 나트륨 및 당류 저감화 사업과 더불어 어린이 급식소 내의 저염·저당 식습관 환경 조성에 기여하고자 실시했다.

‘우리 가족 파티시에!’는 매년 대면으로 센터에 방문하여 오전, 오후로 진행하였으나 코로나-19로 인하여 이번 행사는 비대면으로 진행하였다. 미리 사전예약한 선착순 50명의 아동 가구에 케이크 밀키트를 준비하여 가정에서 아이들과 함께 저당 케이크를 만들 수 있도록 키트를 배포했다.

이번 행사는 오전에 밀키트를 배포하고 오후에는 포항에서 초빙한 김미숙 강사님이 유튜브 라이브방송을 통해 비대면으로 교육을 진행하였다. 키트 배포시 현장에서는 코로나 방역수칙에 맞추어 진행됐다.

‘2021 우리 가족 파티시에!’는 생활 속 당이 높은 간식 대신 당류를 줄인 간식을 가정에서도 쉽게 만들어 아동들이 함께 즐길 수 있도록 도움을 주고 또한 아이와 부모의 유대감 강화에도 많은 도움을 주는 시간이 되었다. 이지현 센터장은 “이번 교육을 통해 울진의 학부모와 아이들이 생활속에서 저염·저당 식습관을 실천하는데 많은 도움이 되었기를 바라며 더불어 울진군어린이급식관리지원센터에도 많은 관심을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

울진군 센터는 2016년 5월부터 울진군에서 위탁받아 위덕대학교에서 운영하고 있으며 전문 영양사가 근무하며 관내 어린이급식소와 어린이들의 급식과 영양을 관리하고 있다.
