【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=위덕대학교(총장 김봉갑) 경주시어린이급식관리지원센터(이하 경주센터)는 지난달 30일부터 이달 2일까지 3일간 경주 화백컨벤션센터에서 개최된 ‘2022 경북식품박람회’에서 식품안전지킴이 새싹 체험교실을 운영했다고 6일 밝혔다.
경주시어린이급식관리지원센터에 따르면 식품안전지킴이 새싹 체험교실은 식품의약품안전처 대구지방청에서 지원한 식중독 신속검사 이동식 버스 차량을 활용해 차량 내부에서 체험하는 식중독 신속검사 실험장비 견학과 차량 외부에서 뷰박스를 이용한 올바른 손씻기 요령을 습득을 중심으로 진행됐다.
어린이들은 실험복을 입고 신속검사 차량에 올라 식중독 검사 장비를 둘러보면서 식중독 검사와 식품안전에 대하여 직업 체험을 했다. 차량 밖에서는 외부에 설치된 대형스크린을 통해 올바른 손씻기에 대하여 배우고 뷰박스 통해 직접 실천했다.
한편 2013년 12월에 개소한 경주시어린이급식관리지원센터는 10명의 전문영양사들이 관내 186개 어린이집의 영양을 갖춘 위생적이고 안전한 급식이 이루어지도록 영양 및 위생 안전관리를 책임지고 있다.
