【브레이크뉴스 영양】이성현 기자=영양군체육회(회장 박재서)는 지난 2일부터 20일까지 영양군민회관에서 2023 동계 유도전지훈련을 개최한다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 동계전지훈련은 대한체육회에서 관리하고 있는 꿈나무 유도 대표팀(감독 임희대, 지도자 9명, 선수38명)선수들을포함하여, 전국에 있는 초중고 유도팀 60개팀 700여명(지도자 100명, 선수 600명)이참여해 유도 전지훈련을 진행할 예정이다.

영양군체육회는 이번 전지훈련을 통해 약 5억원의 경제파급효과를 내어 설 명절을 앞두고 지역 내 소상공인들 큰 명절 선물이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

이번 전지훈련 관계자는“영양군은 훈련장 바로 옆 119 안전센터가 있어 안전사고 발생 시 즉시 대응 가능하며 주변에 운동할 수 있는 인프라가 적합하게 갖추어져 있어 전지훈련 장소로 최적의 장소이다.”라고 말했다.

박재서 영양군체육회장은 “전지훈련 방문 팀은 관내 숙박업소 장기 체류, 식당과 목욕탕 등을 이용하여 지역경제 활성화에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 예상된다.”며, “전지훈련이 일회성 방문행사에 그치지 않고, 내년에도 다시 찾는 영양군이 될 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 하겠다.”고 했다.
