【브레이크뉴스 포항】박희경 기자=포항시의회(의장 백인규) 예산결산특별위원회(이하 예결특위)는 오는 18일까지 7일간 2023년도 제4회 추경예산안, 2024년도 예산안과 기금운용계획안에 대한 종합심사에 들어간다고 12일 밝혔다.

이번에 심사하는 내년도 예산안의 총 규모는 2조 6,400억원으로 전년대비 400억원이 늘었으며, 2023년 제4회 추경예산안은 제3회 추경 대비 944억원이 감소한 2조 8,439억원이다.

이재진 위원장은 “2024년도 우리 경제는 내수 증가세 둔화에도 불구하고 수출을 중심으로 2.2% 성장할 전망이라고 하나, 대내외적인 고금리 기조로 인해 내수시장의 민간소비와 설비투자는 여전히 둔화되는 추세”라며, “물가안정을 고려한 긴축적인 기조를 유지하면서 지역경제에 활력을 불어 넣을 수 있도록 재정운영의 효율성과 재정건전성을 고려한 예산심사가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 시의회는 18일 예결특위 계수조정을 거쳐 20일 제3차 본회의에서 내년도 예산을 최종 확정할 예정이다.
