【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국테크노파크진흥회(회장 도건우)는 지난 18일(현지시각)미국 워싱턴 D.C.의 미주개발은행(IDB) 본부에서 콜롬비아 테크노파크 조성ODA사업의 협의의사록(Record of Dicussion)을 체결했다.

22일 대구 테크노파크에 따르면 중기부-IDB 업무협약 체결(’22.4.28.)의 후속조치로 발굴된 이번사업은 한국테크노파크진흥회와 미주개발은행이 공동으로추진한다.

중소벤처기업부 ODA로 2024-2027년 4년간 추진되며 테크노파크 마스터플랜 수립, 장비기자재구축 및 디지털분야 인력양성 및 중소기업 육성을 주요 내용으로 하고 있다.

도건우 회장은 “한국 테크노파크는 지역산업기획‧지역기업지원을 통해지역경제를 활성화한 거점으로, 한국의 경험 전수를 통해 콜롬비아 테크노파크의 지속가능한 운영과 디지털전환을 지원할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

아나 마리아 이바네즈 IDB부총재는 “IDB는 중남미지역의 디지털전환 지원을 중심으로 경제사회 회복탄력성 강화를 지원”하고 있으며, “한국의테크노파크 운영 기반 중소기업 육성경험을 융합하여 시너지 창출이 가능할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

TP진흥회는 협의의사록을 체결함으로써 콜롬비아 테크노파크 조성사업에본격 착수하며, 앞으로 콜롬비아 IT기업의 디지털 역량 강화 지원과 동시에 우리나라 중소기업의 중남미 진출 기반도 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

한편 TP진흥회는 19개 TP의 네트워크 허브로 라오스, 우즈베키스탄, 콜롬비아 등 개도국대상한국 TP 운영모델 전수를 위한 프로젝트 및 글로벌 연수사업 등 국제협력사업 추진 하고 있다.

Korean technopark know-how to be transferred to Colombia

The Korea Techno Park Promotion Association (Chairman Do Geon-woo) signed a Record of Discussion for the Colombia Techno Park ODA project at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) headquarters in Washington D.C. on the 18th (local time).

It will be promoted for four years from 2024 to 2027 as ODA from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and its main contents include establishing a technopark master plan, building equipment and materials, nurturing human resources in the digital field, and fostering small and medium-sized businesses.

Chairman Do Geon-woo said, “Korea Techno Park is a base for revitalizing the local economy through regional industrial planning and support for local businesses, and we plan to support the sustainable operation and digital transformation of Colombia Techno Park by transferring Korea’s experience.”

IDB Vice President Ana Maria Ibáñez said, “IDB is supporting strengthening economic and social resilience, focusing on supporting digital transformation in Latin America,” and added, “It will be possible to create synergy by converging Korea’s experience in fostering small and medium-sized businesses based on technopark operation.” .

By concluding the minutes of consultation, the TP Promotion Association will begin the project to create a Colombian technopark in earnest. Going forward, it plans to support the strengthening of digital capabilities of Colombian IT companies and at the same time expand the base for Korean small and medium-sized businesses to enter Central and South America.

Meanwhile, the TP Promotion Association is a network hub of 19 TPs and is promoting international cooperation projects such as projects and global training projects to transfer the Korean TP operation model to developing countries such as Laos, Uzbekistan, and Colombia.
