【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 대구테크노파크(원장 도건우)와 '달서 독도메타버스 미래교육 학습관'의 운영을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 7일 밝혔다.

이번 협약식은 오는 24일 전국 최초 개소할 '독도메타버스 미래교육 학습관'의 원활하고 체계적 운영을 위해 마련됐다.

주요 협약내용은 구축된 독도메타버스 미래교육 학습관의 예약·운영관리, 시민참여활성화, 신규콘텐츠 2종 제작 및 개발, 지역주민 메타버스 시민체험단 등을 모집으로 메타버스 리빙랩 운영 등이다.

학습관은 독도의 자연·역사·관광의 메타버스 콘텐츠를 오프라인에서 체험할 수 있는 인터랙티브존, 메타버스 아바타 생성존, 가상독도 실감체험존, 메타버스 VR존, 실시간 영상존 등으로 구성돼 있다. 

실증사업으로 개발된 콘텐츠들은 달서 독도 메타버스 학습관에서 오프라인으로 체감할 수 있으며, 독도의 자연역사,관광을 생생하게 체험하고 학습 할 수 있다.

 이태훈 달서구청장은 “지역주민이 실감미디어와 VR 콘텐츠를 통해 독도를 쉽고 재미있게 체험할 수 있기를 바란다"며," 앞으로 자라나는 지역 인재들이 선택하는 도시가 될 수 있도록 다양한 교육콘텐츠 개발에 투자하여 서비스를 제공하도록 하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
