【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 지난 14일 신용회복위원회와 금융산업공익재단에서 1천만원 상당의 생필품을 지원받아 관내 금융 취약계층 40세대에 전달했다고 16일 밝혔다.

달서구에 따르면 ‘금융 취약계층 긴급 생필품 지원사업’은 신용회복위원회와 금융산업공익재단이 함께 추진하는 사회공헌사업으로 전국 6개 광역 지역본부와 지방자치단체가 협력해 발굴한 금융 취약계층에게 생필품을 지원한다.

또한, 금융 연체로 위기에 처한 가구에는 맞춤형 채무상담·조정을 지원해 경제적으로 재기할 수 있도록 돕는 사업이다.

이시형 신용회복위원회 대구경북지역본부장은 “금번 사회공헌사업을 통해 생필품 지원 외에도 부채문제 해결을 위한 채무조정 상담까지 진행하여 실질적인 도움을 드릴 수 있는 기회가 되었다. 앞으로도 금융 취약계층에 대해 지속적으로 관심을 갖고 사회 공헌활동을 실시하겠다.”라고 말했다.
