【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시 가 단독주택과 공동주택을 대상으로 재생에너지 보급 확대와 시민 부담 완화를 위한 ‘2026년도 신재생에너지 주택지원사업’을 추진한다.

이번 사업은 정부의 ‘재생에너지 주택 100만 호 보급’ 정책과 연계해 태양광, 태양열, 지열 설비 설치 가구에 대해 한국에너지공단 과 지자체가 설치비 일부를 지원하는 방식으로 진행된다.

대구시는 2004년부터 2025년까지 총 4,977가구에 재생에너지 설비 설치를 지원했으며, 이 중 태양광 설비가 4,669가구로 전체의 93.8%를 차지했다.

올해는 시비 2억 9천만 원을 확보해 △태양광 34만 원/kW(단독주택 기준) △태양열 13만 9천 원/㎡ △지열 18만 4천 원/kW의 설치비를 지원한다. 이는 태양광 3kW 기준 약 280가구가 혜택을 받을 수 있는 규모다.

실제 설치 비용을 보면, 2026년 기준 태양광 3kW 설비의 총비용은 약 454만 원으로, 정부 보조금 165만 원과 시 보조금 102만 원이 지원된다. 이에 따라 신청 가구는 약 187만 원만 자부담하면 된다.

또한 월평균 350kWh 전력을 사용하는 가구의 경우 연간 약 65만 원의 전기요금을 절감할 수 있어, 약 3년 내 투자비 회수가 가능할 것으로 전망된다.

사업 참여를 희망하는 시민은 주택에 적합한 에너지원 선정 후 한국에너지공단 그린홈 홈페이지에 등록된 참여기업과 설치 계약을 체결해야 한다. 이후 공단의 사업 승인과 설치 확인 절차를 거치면 보조금이 지급된다.

보조금 지원 대상은 공단 접수 일시를 기준으로 예산 범위 내 선착순으로 선정된다.

이호준 과장은 “이번 사업이 시민들의 에너지 비용 부담을 줄이고 지역 에너지 자립도를 높이는 데 기여할 것”이라며 “많은 시민들의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

Furthermore, for a household consuming an average of 350kWh of electricity per month, it is projected that the investment can be recouped within about three years, as they can save approximately 650,000 won in electricity bills annually. Citizens wishing to participate in the project must select an energy source suitable for their home and sign an installation contract with a participating company registered on the Korea Energy Agency's Green Home website. Subsidies will be disbursed following the Agency's project approval and installation verification procedures.

Recipients of the subsidy will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis within the budget limits, based on the date of application to the Agency.
