이번 평가는 31개 중앙행정기관과 17개 광역자치단체 등 총 48개 기관을 대상으로 전년도 도서관 정책과 추진 성과를 종합 분석해 진행됐다. 주요 평가 항목은 종합계획 부합도와 이행 충실도, 목표 달성도 등이다.

대구시는 지역 출판 생태계 활성화를 위해 ‘2026년 대구 올해의 책’ 10권 가운데 1권을 지역 출판 도서로 선정했으며, 오는 4월 23일 오후 2시 대구도서관 강당에서 ‘올해의 책 선포식’을 열어 독서문화 확산을 이어갈 계획이다.
이은아 대구시 대학정책국장은 “이번 수상은 시민 중심 도서관 정책의 성과를 대외적으로 인정받은 결과”라며 “앞으로도 내실 있는 도서관 서비스를 통해 시민들이 일상 속에서 지식과 문화를 향유할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
