【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시가 산업단지 내 화재사고 예방과 안전 강화를 위해 종합대책을 마련하고 본격적인 추진에 나섰다.
대구시는 지난 2일 시청 산격청사에서 김정기 대구광역시장 권한대행 주재로 시정 현안 점검보고회를 열고, ‘산업단지 화재종합대책’을 수립·점검했다고 밝혔다.
이번 대책은 지난 3월 25일 확대간부회의에서 제시된 섬유·자동차부품 공장 대상 실효성 있는 안전점검 강화 지시에 따른 후속 조치다.
시는 이에 앞서 3월 30일부터 5월 15일까지 7주간 지역 내 자동차부품 및 섬유 제조업체 370개소를 대상으로 고강도 화재 예방 활동을 진행하고 있다.
주요 내용은 ▲유관기관 합동 긴급 안전점검 ▲위험물 취급시설 소방검사 ▲소방관서장 현장 간담회 및 행정지도 ▲사업장 맞춤형 안전교육 ▲온라인 안전관리 네트워크 운영 등이다.
특히 소방·건축·노동 분야 전문가로 구성된 합동점검반이 소방시설 유지관리 상태와 전기·건축 안전성, 위험물 취급기준 준수 여부 등을 집중 점검하고, 화재 취약 사업장에 대해서는 즉각적인 행정지도를 병행해 위험요인을 사전에 차단할 방침이다.
또한 산업단지관리공단과 협력해 사업장 관계자를 대상으로 초기 대응 및 피난 교육을 강화하고, 소방안전관리자 간 실시간 소통체계를 구축해 화재 사례를 공유하는 등 민관 협력 기반의 예방 활동도 확대할 계획이다.
김정기 대구광역시장 권한대행은 “이번 긴급 안전점검을 통해 산업현장의 화재 예방과 대응 역량을 한층 강화할 것”이라며 “근로자와 시민 모두의 안전 인식을 높이는 계기가 되도록 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
