31일 중구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 대구시와 대구전통시장진흥재단이 공모한 것으로, 회복지원과 활력지원, 우수 골목상권 후속지원 등 3가지 유형으로 추진된다. 중구는 전체 선정 결과 10곳 중 4곳이 포함되며, 구·군 가운데 최다 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
교동 연합 골목과 동성로 로데오 골목은 회복지원사업 대상지로 뽑혀 상권 브랜딩과 홍보영상 제작, 축제 운영 등 다양한 사업을 통해 경쟁력 강화에 나선다.
또, 봉산문화거리는 1억 원의 예산을 받아 문화예술 자원을 활용한 지도 제작과 야간 경관 포토존 조성 등 문화·소비 연계형 활성화 사업을 추진할 예정이다.
남산동 악기점 골목은 우수 골목상권 후속지원사업으로 5천만 원의 예산을 확보해 골목 축제, 찾아가는 악기교실, 스토리 발굴과 디지털 콘텐츠 제작 등을 진행할 계획이다.
중구청 관계자는 “골목마다 고유한 특성을 살린 맞춤형 지원으로 상권의 자생력을 높이겠다”며 “중구만의 차별화된 골목상권으로 자리잡을 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
