대구시는 ‘대구청년 부동산 중개수수료 지원사업’을 시행해 청년들의 주거비 부담 완화에 나선다고 밝혔다.

지원 규모는 매월 최대 125명, 연간 약 1,000여 명으로 1인당 최대 30만 원까지 지원된다.

지원 대상은 2026년 1월 1일 이후 타 지역에서 대구로 전입했거나, 대구 내에서 이사 후 전입신고를 마친 19세부터 39세까지의 무주택 청년 세대주다. 기준 중위소득 150% 이하이면서 주택 임대차 거래금액 1억 5,000만 원 이하의 전·월세 거주자라면 신청할 수 있다.

특히 고시원이나 게스트하우스 등 비주택 거주 청년도 지원 대상에 포함해 사각지대를 줄였다. 입실확인서와 임대사업자등록증, 중개보수 영수증 등을 제출하면 지원을 받을 수 있다.

신청은 4월 6일부터 대구청년커뮤니티포털 ‘젊프’ 또는 대구시청년센터 홈페이지를 통해 가능하며, 매월 첫째 주 월요일 오전 9시부터 선착순으로 접수한다. 선정된 대상자는 신청 다음 달 20일에 본인 계좌로 지원금을 지급받는다.

단, 해당 지원은 생애 1회에 한해 제공되며, 중앙부처 및 타 지자체 유사사업 수혜자, 부모 소유 주택 임차인, 주거급여 수급자, 주택 소유자 등은 제외된다.

박윤희 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “이번 사업이 청년들의 주거 이동 부담을 줄이는 데 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청년들이 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 다양한 정책을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu City announced that it will implement the "Daegu Youth Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Project" to alleviate the burden of housing costs for young people.

The support scale covers up to 125 people per month and approximately 1,000 people per year, with a maximum of 300,000 won provided per person.

Eligibility is limited to non-homeowning young heads of household aged 19 to 39 who have moved to Daegu from other regions after January 1, 2026, or who have completed their residency registration after moving within Daegu. Those residing in jeonse (lump-sum deposit) or monthly rent with a housing lease transaction amount of 150 million won or less and whose income is 150% or less of the standard median income are eligible to apply.

Notably, the support has been expanded to include young people living in non-residential accommodations such as goshiwons (small single-room accommodations) or guesthouses, thereby reducing blind spots in coverage. Support is available upon submission of a move-in confirmation, a rental business registration certificate, and a brokerage fee receipt.

Applications can be submitted starting April 6 via the Daegu Youth Community Portal ‘Jeumpe’ or the Daegu City Youth Center website. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9:00 AM on the first Monday of every month. Selected recipients will receive the support funds directly into their accounts on the 20th of the month following their application.

However, this support is provided only once in a lifetime, and those excluded include beneficiaries of similar programs by central government ministries or other local governments, tenants of homes owned by parents, recipients of housing allowances, and homeowners.
