【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시 가 지역 청년들의 금융 역량 강화와 안정적인 자산 형성을 지원하기 위해 ‘대구 청년 재무클리닉’ 사업을 본격 추진한다.

이번 사업은 최근 청년층의 부채 증가와 금융·부동산 사기 피해가 사회적 문제로 대두됨에 따라, 청년들이 올바른 재무 습관을 형성하고 스스로 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

프로그램은 ▲단계별 금융교육 ▲1대1 맞춤 재무 상담 ▲재무 토크콘서트 등으로 구성됐다. 금융교육은 기초·심화·실습의 3단계 과정으로 운영되며, 기초 과정에서는 저축·신용·생활경제 등 필수 금융 지식을, 심화 과정에서는 주식·투자·재무설계 등 실생활 중심 주제를 다룬다. 실습 과정은 다회기 참여를 통해 개인 재무 상태를 점검하고 건전한 금융 습관을 형성하도록 설계됐다.

‘1대1 맞춤 재무 상담’은 자산 형성에 어려움을 겪거나 부채 문제로 고민하는 청년들을 대상으로 전문가가 개별 상황에 맞는 해결 방안과 재무관리 방향을 제시한다.

하반기에는 청년 금융생활과 정책을 주제로 한 ‘재무 토크콘서트’도 개최돼 청년들의 금융 고민을 공유하고 해법을 모색하는 소통의 장이 마련될 예정이다.

이와 함께 현장 참여가 어려운 청년들을 위해 금융지식을 담은 온라인 콘텐츠도 제작·제공할 계획이다.

박윤희 국장은 “이번 사업은 청년소통 간담회에서 제안된 의견을 반영해 기획됐다”며 “청년들이 금융 문제를 전문가와 함께 해결하며 경제적으로 자립할 수 있는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu Metropolitan City is launching the ‘Daegu Youth Financial Clinic’ project in earnest to support local youth in strengthening their financial capabilities and forming stable assets.

This initiative was established to help young people form sound financial habits and design their own futures, in response to the recent rise in youth debt and the emergence of financial and real estate fraud as social issues.

The program consists of ▲step-by-step financial education, ▲one-on-one customized financial counseling, and ▲financial talk concerts. The financial education course is conducted in three stages: basic, advanced, and practical. The basic course covers essential financial knowledge such as savings, credit, and daily economics, while the advanced course deals with real-life topics including stocks, investment, and financial planning. The practical course is designed to allow participants to assess their personal financial status and form sound financial habits through multi-session participation.

The ‘1-on-1 Personalized Financial Counseling’ program targets young people struggling with asset formation or grappling with debt issues, offering experts tailored to individual situations and guidance on financial management.

In the second half of the year, a ‘Financial Talk Concert’ focusing on youth financial life and policies will also be held, providing a platform for young people to share their financial concerns and seek solutions.

In addition, plans are underway to produce and provide online content containing financial knowledge for young people who are unable to attend in person.

Director Park Yoon-hee stated, “This project was planned by reflecting opinions suggested at the Youth Communication Meeting,” adding, “We hope this serves as an opportunity for young people to achieve economic independence by resolving financial issues together with experts.”
