【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시가 미취업 청년의 구직 의욕을 높이고 취업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 ‘2026년 청년성장프로젝트(청년카페 취트키)’를 본격 추진한다.

‘청년성장프로젝트’는 고용노동부가 2024년부터 시행해 온 청년 맞춤형 지원 사업으로, 대구시는 사업 첫해 ‘최우수기관’, 2025년 ‘우수기관’에 선정되며 전국적인 모범 사례로 평가받고 있다.

올해는 국비 20억 원을 포함해 총 25억 원의 예산을 확보해 지역 청년 약 5,600명을 대상으로 보다 체계적인 지원에 나설 계획이다.

‘취트키’는 ‘취업 성공의 만능키(Cheat Key)’를 의미하는 프로그램으로, 15세부터 39세까지 청년의 수요를 반영한 개인 맞춤형 방식으로 운영된다. 주요 내용은 진로 상담을 통한 방향 설정을 비롯해 ▲멘토링 ▲자기계발 ▲진로·취업 지원 등으로 구성되며, 참여자의 특성에 따라 일정과 장소를 달리해 진행된다.

특히 올해는 학교와 기업이 공동 기획한 특화 프로그램을 새롭게 도입해 청년들이 실제 기업 현장을 경험하고, 이를 채용으로 연계할 수 있도록 직무 중심의 실질적인 성장 기회를 제공할 방침이다.

대구시는 이번 사업을 통해 청년들이 자기주도적인 경력 설계 역량을 갖추고 안정적으로 사회에 진입할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 아울러 지역 내 다양한 고용 정책과 연계해 단기 취업 지원을 넘어 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련에도 힘쓸 계획이다.
