【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=우성진 대구 동구청장 예비후보가 아버지 전용 육아교육 프로그램인 ‘아빠 육아학교’와 장애·비장애 아동이 함께 즐길 수 있는 통합놀이터 조성을 주요 내용으로 한 육아·교육 공약을 발표했다. 

이번 공약은 기존 정책 보완을 넘어서 새로운 사업을 중심에 두고 ‘아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 동구’ 조성을 목표로 내세운 점이 눈길을 끈다.

방과 후 돌봄 공백을 메우기 위한 ‘마을학교’ 네트워크도 마련한다. 지역 장인과 예술가, 기업인이 함께 참여해 다양한 체험형 교육 프로그램을 제공하며, 어린이집 특별활동비 지원도 병행할 계획이다.

우 예비후보는 “아이들의 웃음소리가 끊이지 않는 동구를 만드는 것이 실질적인 출발점”이라며 “동구에서 한 번도 시도되지 않았던 새로운 가족 정책으로 출산과 양육 환경을 획기적으로 개선하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Preliminary Candidate Woo stated, "Creating a Dong-gu where the sound of children's laughter never ceases is the practical starting point," adding, "I will dramatically improve the environment for childbirth and child-rearing through new family policies that have never been attempted in Dong-gu."
