또 주변에는 첨단물류단지를 구축해 물류와 유통 기능을 모으겠다는 계획이다. 봉무공원에서 단산지를 잇는 구간은 건강휴양지구로 정비해 녹지와 치유 기능을 강화하겠다는 방침이다.

정 후보는 “수변 관광자원화와 물류 인프라 확충을 통해 관광객 유입과 상권 회복, 기업 유치와 일자리 창출까지 동시에 노릴 수 있다”고 강조했다. 특히 도심과 신도심을 연결하는 교통망 개선이 지역 상권 활성화의 핵심이라는 입장이다.

이어 정 후보는 “세부 사업계획과 예산, 관계기관 협의 내용도 순차적으로 공개할 예정”이라며 “실제 사업 추진력과 정책 완성도는 관련 자료가 공개되고 검증되는 과정에서 판단될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
