【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 박범계 의원(4선)이 오영준 중구청장 후보의 후원회장을 맡으면서, 대구 중구청장 선거 체제가 본격적으로 가동됐다.

오영준 후보 캠프는 15일 박 의원이 후원회장직을 공식 수락했으며, 같은 날 후원회 계좌도 개설을 마쳤다고 전했다. 이에 따라 조직 정비와 후원 기반 구축이 동시에 이루어졌다는 평가가 나온다.

박범계 의원은 앞서 자신의 SNS를 통해 “최연소 청년이지만 준비가 빵빵하다”며 오 후보에 대한 공개 지지를 밝힌 바 있다. 또 오 후보가 구 예산서를 꼼꼼하게 분석하며 지역 현안을 파악해 온 점 등을 높게 평가했다.

박 의원은 김부겸 대구시장 후보에 대한 지지도 재확인했으며, “광역과 기초를 잇는 선거 연대가 필요하다”고 강조했다.

오 후보 측은 후원회 계좌와 참여 방법을 공개하며 지지층 결집에 나섰다. 캠프는 앞으로 후원회 운영 방식과 선거 전략 등 추가 계획도 순차적으로 발표할 예정이다.
