조 예비후보는 제6대 달서구의원과 제7대 대구시의회 운영위원장을 역임한 지방의정 경력에 더해, 대통령직인수위원회 자문위원 등 중앙 무대 경험을 강점으로 내세웠다.

조 예비후보 캠프는 선거사무소 개소를 시작으로 현장 방문과 유권자 간담회, 단계별 공약 발표 등 현장 민심 잡기에 총력을 기울일 방침이다.
