【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=제22대 국회의원선거에서 국민의힘이 108석(지역구 90석·비례대표 18석)을 확보해 또 다시 초라한 성적표를 받아들었지만 보수 텃밭의 지지는 견고했다. 대구와 경북에서는 경산을 제외한 25개 지역구 전체 국민의힘 후보가 큰 차이로 압승을 거뒀다.

앞서 대구 중·남구 지역은 5·18 폄훼 발언 논란 등으로 공천이 취소된 도태우 후보가 무소속 출마해 선거 변수로 지목됐다. 그러나 개표 결과 국민의힘 김기웅 후보가 57.91%의 득표율로 당선되면서 이변 없는 결과가 나왔다.

대구 동구군위군갑은 최은석 후보가 74.48%로 당선됐고 동구 군위군을은 강대식 후보가 1위를 차지하며 재선 의원이 됐다.  

대구 서구는 김상훈 후보가 무난하게 4선 수성에 성공했다. 대구 북구갑에서는 국민의힘 우재준 후보 71.37% 득표해 당선됐고 대구 북구을에서는 국민의힘 김승수 후보가 재선 배지를 달았다.

대구 수성구갑에서는 국민의힘 주호영 후보가 6선 고지에 올랐고 대구 수성구을은 국민의힘 이인선 후보가 72.84% 득표율로 승리했다.

대구 달서구갑은 국민의힘 유영하 후보가 당선돼 국회 입성에 성공했다. 대구 달서구을에서는 국민의힘 윤재옥 후보가 4선 의원 명단에 이름을 올렸다. 대구 달서구병은 국민의힘 권영진 후보는 67.08% 득표로 승리를 거뒀다.

대구 달성군 선거구에서는 추경호 후보가 3선 당선으로 국민의힘 중진 반열에 올랐다.

경북 경주시 김석기 후보와 포항시북구 김정재 후보도 지역구를 수성하는 데 성공하며 3선 의원이 됐다. 포항시남울릉 이상휘 후보는 70.03%를 얻어 국회에 입성했다.

김천시에는 송언석 후보가 3선에 성공했고 안동시·예천군 김형동 후보는 재선 의원으로 거듭났다.

구미갑에서는 구자근 후보가 72.58%, 구미을은 강명구 후보가 65.29%의 득표율로 구미시민들의 선택을 받았다.

영주시·영양군·봉화군의 당선인은 임종득 후보로 73.71%의 득표을을 기록했고 영천시·청도군은 5명의 후보 중 이만희 후보가 1위를 차지하며 3선 고지에 올랐다.

상주시·문경시에는 임이자 후보가 3선 배지를 달며 우먼파워를 보였다. 고령군·성주군·칠곡군의 정희용 후보는 76.23%의 높은 득표율을 받으며 무난하게 국회에 재입성했다.

의성군·청송군·영덕군·울진군의 박형수 후보는 83.33%라는 대구‧경북 최고 득표율의 기록을 세워 눈길을 끌었다. 그는 21대 총선에서 영주영양봉화울진 선거구에 출마해 당선되었으며 이번 선거에서는 선거구 개편에 따라 지역구를 옮겨 출마했다.

경산시는 유일하게 접전을 벌인 선거구였다. 국민의힘 조지연 후보는 새벽까지 이어진 개표 끝에 5선에 도전한 무소속 최경환 후보를 꺾으며 국회 입성에 성공했다.

In Daegu Dalseo-gu Gap, People Power Party candidate Yoo Young-ha was elected and succeeded in entering the National Assembly, and in Daegu Dalseo-gu Gap, People Power Party candidate Yoon Jae-ok was named as a four-term lawmaker. In Dalseo-gu, Daegu, People Power Party candidate Kwon Young-jin won with 67.08% of the votes.

In the Daegu Dalseong-gun constituency, candidate Chu Kyung-ho was elected to his third term and rose to the ranks of the People Power Party.

Candidate Seok-ki Kim from Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeong-jae Kim from Buk-gu, Pohang City also succeeded in winning over their constituencies and became third-term lawmakers. Pohang Nam Ulleung candidate Lee Sang-hwi entered the National Assembly with 70.03% of the vote.

In Gimcheon City, candidate Song Eon-seok succeeded in his third term, and Andong City and Yecheon-gun candidate Kim Hyeong-dong was re-elected as a member of the National Assembly.

In Gumi Gap, candidate Koo Ja-geun was chosen by Gumi citizens with 72.58% of the votes, and in Gumi-eul, candidate Kang Myeong-gu was chosen by Gumi citizens with 65.29% of the votes.

The elected candidate for Yeongju-si, Yeongyang-gun, and Bonghwa-gun was Lim Jong-deuk, who received 73.71% of the votes, and in Yeongcheon-si and Cheongdo-gun, candidate Lee Man-hee took first place among the five candidates and advanced to the third term.

In Sangju City and Mungyeong City, candidate Lim Ja showed her woman power by wearing a 3rd term badge. Candidate Jeong Hee-yong from Goryeong-gun, Seongju-gun, and Chilgok-gun easily re-entered the National Assembly, receiving a high vote rate of 76.23%.

Candidate Park Hyeong-soo of Uiseong-gun, Cheongsong-gun, Yeongdeok-gun, and Uljin-gun attracted attention by setting the record for the highest vote rate in Daegu and Gyeongbuk at 83.33%. He ran for and was elected in the Yeongju Yeongyangbonghwa-Uljin constituency in the 21st general election, and in this election, he moved to a different constituency and ran for office.

Gyeongsan City was the only constituency where there was a close race. People Power Party candidate Cho Ji-yeon succeeded in entering the National Assembly by defeating independent candidate Choi Kyung-hwan, who was running for a fifth term, after counting votes that lasted until dawn.
