I will move beyond politics that repeat past glories and lead real change that transforms the lives of citizens."

Finally, he declared, "Daegu has now passed a period of experimentation and failure, and is at a point where substantive change is needed. With strong drive and execution, I will innovate industry, education, and jobs, and together with the citizens, I will usher in a new century for Daegu."
