【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교가 제25대 총학생회를 공식 출범시키며 2026학년도 학생자치 활동의 새 출발을 알렸다.

대학은 지난 20일 교내 본관에서 제24대·25대 총학생회 이·취임식과 제25대 총학생회 출범식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 이근용 총장을 비롯한 주요 보직자와 김종윤 총동창회장, 제24대 박상욱 총학생회장, 제25대 김상봉 총학생회장 등 양대 총학생회 임원진이 참석했다.

행사는 제24대 총학생회 임원진에 대한 공로패 및 감사패 수여로 시작됐다. 대학 발전과 학생 권익 증진을 위해 활동해 온 임원진의 노고를 격려한 뒤, 제25대 김상봉 총학생회장을 포함한 신임 임원진에게 임명장을 전달하며 새 학생자치기구의 출범을 공식화했다.

김상봉 신임 회장은 취임사에서 “디지털 단합, 글로벌 비상”을 슬로건으로 제시하며 온라인 기반 대학의 특성을 살린 소통 강화와 참여 중심 학생자치 운영을 통해 재학생 만족도 제고와 글로벌 역량 강화를 이루겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.

이근용 총장은 축사를 통해 “어려운 시기마다 총학생회의 협력과 지원이 대학에 큰 힘이 됐다”며 “새롭게 출범한 제25대 총학생회가 대학과 학생을 잇는 가교 역할을 충실히 수행해 주길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 제25대 총학생회는 김상봉 회장(사회복지학과)을 비롯해 이강수 부회장(파크골프복지학과), 도효정 사무국장(사회복지상담학과), 염명주 재무국장(한국어다문화학과), 성병은 기획국장(상담심리학과), 신여정 학술국장(한국어다문화학과), 김서윤 협력국장(행동치료학과) 등으로 구성됐다.
