【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용) 행동치료학과(학과장 조정연)는 지난 19일 제주 지역에 위치한 더이음심리상담센터와 행동발달재활서비스 제공인력 및 행동분석전문가 양성을 위한 상호교류협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 수도권을 넘어 제주 지역까지 현장실습 협력 기관을 전국 단위로 확대했다는 점에서 의미가 크다. 특히 정신건강의학과의원 및 부설 상담센터와의 협력을 통해 의학과 재활과학을 연계한 실습 환경을 구축했다는 점에서 주목을 받고 있다.

협약 기관인 더이음정신건강의학과의원은 소아청소년정신과 전문의 조성진 원장을 중심으로 다양한 정신건강 문제에 대해 맞춤형 치료를 제공하고 있으며, 부설 기관인 더이음심리상담센터는 본원과의 긴밀한 협력을 바탕으로 전문적인 심리평가, 상담, 행동분석 서비스를 운영하고 있다.

조성진 원장은 “최신 응용행동분석(ABA)은 과학성과 윤리성을 갖춘 학문으로, 국내외 연구를 통해 그 효과가 입증됐다”며 “놀이치료, 언어치료, 작업치료 등 다양한 분야와 결합할 경우 더욱 큰 시너지를 낼 수 있다”고 말했다. 이어 “이번 협약은 내담자에게 보다 전문적인 지원을 제공하는 전환점이 될 것”이라며 “제주 지역의 ABA 현장실습과 전문인력 양성에 기여할 수 있어 뜻깊게 생각하며, 기관과 실습생이 함께 성장할 수 있도록 적극 협조하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 더이음심리상담센터에서 팀장급 치료사로 근무 중인 김은주 졸업생(2024년 졸업생 대표)이 배석해 의미를 더했다. 김 팀장은 “제주 지역에서도 정기적인 지역 스터디가 활발히 운영되고 있다”며 “학과의 강점인 지역 네트워크 활성화에 기여하고, 신입생들의 학교 적응과 향후 현장실습 과정에서도 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

행동치료학과 강영모 교수는 “2007년 개설된 행동치료학과는 지역에 관계없이 전국 어디서나 수준 높은 강의와 실습을 경험할 수 있는 교육 시스템을 구축해 왔다”며 “앞으로도 검증된 기관과의 협력을 지속적으로 확대해 원활한 현장실습 운영에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다. 이어 “이번 협약을 계기로 정신건강의학과와 재활과학 분야 간 연계가 한층 강화될 것으로 기대된다”며 행동치료 및 행동분석 전문인력 양성을 위한 노력을 지속하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.

Director Cho Seong-jin stated, "Modern Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a discipline with both scientific and ethical principles, and its effectiveness has been proven through domestic and international research. Combining it with diverse fields like play therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy can create even greater synergy." He continued, "This agreement will be a turning point in providing clients with more specialized support. The signing ceremony was further enriched by the presence of Kim Eun-ju, a graduate student and representative of the Class of 2024, who currently serves as a team leader at The Eum Psychological Counseling Center. Team Leader Kim stated, "Regular regional study groups are actively conducted in the Jeju region. We will contribute to the revitalization of the regional network, a strength of the department, and actively support new students' adaptation to the school and their future field training."

Professor Kang Young-mo of the Department of Behavioral Therapy stated, "Since its establishment in 2007, the Department of Behavioral Therapy has established an educational system that allows students to experience high-quality lectures and practical training anywhere in the country, regardless of region." He added, "We will continue to expand our collaboration with verified institutions to ensure smooth operation of field training programs."
