이번 학술대회는 지난해 11월 22일 한성대학교 미래관 DLC에서 ‘에이전틱(Agentic) AI 시대, 영유아 교원의 AI 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화’를 주제로 개최됐다. 행사에는 신재흡 학회장의 개회사를 시작으로 이상원 한성대학교 총장의 환영사와 정근식 서울특별시교육청 교육감, 도성훈 인천광역시교육청 교육감, 정제영 한국교육학술정보원 원장, 강주호 한국교원단체총연합회 회장 등 교육계 주요 인사들이 참석했다.

수상작은 '기능 기반의 예방-교수-강화 전략이 자폐 성향을 가진 장애통합어린이집 유아의 상동행동에 미치는 효과'를 주제로 한 연구로, 행동의 기능을 과학적으로 분석한 뒤 이에 근거한 중재 전략을 적용해 유아의 상동행동을 감소시키고 활동 참여 시간을 증진시키는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

특히 상동행동을 단순히 중단해야 할 문제행동이 아닌 ‘의사소통의 표현’으로 해석하고, 보다 사회적인 의사소통 방식을 교수하는 윤리적 행동분석을 실천했다는 점에서 현장 교사들로부터 높은 관심과 호평을 받았다.

정혜영 학우(현 시립 장애통합어린이집 교사)는 “행동치료학과의 체계적인 교육과정과 교수진의 세심한 지도가 큰 도움이 됐다”며 “강영모 교수님의 수퍼비전을 통해 현장의 고민을 연구로 발전시킬 수 있었고, 이번 포스터 논문도 충실히 준비할 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 이어 “이번 발표와 수상은 학문적으로 한 단계 도약하는 계기가 됐다”고 말했다.

강영모 교수는 “응용행동분석(ABA)은 현장의 문제를 과학적으로 분석해 실천으로 연결하는 학문”이라며 “학업과 현장 업무를 병행하면서도 성실하게 연구에 임한 정혜영 교사와 함께 의미 있는 성과를 거둘 수 있어 뜻깊다”고 밝혔다. 또한 “연구 내용을 더욱 발전시켜 국내 주요 학술지에 논문을 등재할 계획”이라며 “앞으로도 특수교육과 재활과학 현장에 있는 재학생·졸업생들과의 협업을 통해 학문적 성취를 확대해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.

한편 대구사이버대학교 행동치료학과는 교육 현장에서 발생하는 다양한 행동 문제를 예방하고 효과적으로 지원할 수 있도록 전문적이고 체계적인 교육과정을 운영하고 있다. 현장실습과 수퍼비전, 국제자격증 연계 등을 통해 전문성 강화를 지원하며, 유아교육은 물론 초·중등 및 특수교육 전반에 요구되는 긍정적 행동지원(PBS) 역량 확산에 지속적으로 기여할 계획이다.

Under the theme, "Strengthening AI Digital Literacy for Early Childhood Teachers in the Age of Agentic AI," the event began with opening remarks by Shin Jae-heup, followed by welcoming remarks from Hansung University President Lee Sang-won. Key figures in the education community were in attendance, including Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Jeong Keun-sik, Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Do Seong-hoon, Korea Education and Research Information Service President Jeong Je-young, and Korean Federation of Teachers' Associations President Kang Ju-ho.

The award-winning study, titled "The Effects of a Function-Based Prevention-Instruction-Reinforcement Strategy on Stereotyped Behaviors in Children with Autistic Tendencies at an Inclusive Daycare Center," focused on scientifically analyzing the function of behavior and then applying intervention strategies based on this analysis to reduce stereotyped behaviors and increase activity participation.

Notably, the study drew significant attention and praise from teachers in the field for interpreting stereotyped behaviors not simply as problem behaviors to be stopped, but as "expressions of communication," and for implementing ethical behavior analysis that teaches more social communication styles.

Jeong Hye-young (currently a teacher at a municipal inclusive daycare center for the disabled) said, "The systematic curriculum and meticulous guidance of the faculty in the Department of Behavioral Therapy were invaluable. Professor Kang Young-mo's supervision allowed me to develop my field-based concerns into research and diligently prepare this poster paper." She added, "This presentation and award were a catalyst for a leap forward in my academic career."

Professor Kang Young-mo stated, "Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a discipline that scientifically analyzes real-world problems and translates them into practice. It is truly meaningful to be able to achieve meaningful results with teacher Jeong Hye-young, who diligently pursued research while balancing her academic and practical work." He added, "We plan to further develop our research and publish papers in major domestic academic journals. We will continue to expand our academic achievements through collaboration with current and former students in special education and rehabilitation science."

Meanwhile, the Department of Behavior Therapy at Daegu Cyber ​​University offers a specialized and systematic curriculum designed to prevent and effectively support various behavioral problems arising in educational settings.
