【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 지난 9일 대학 내 CIR에서 지역아동센터 종사자 역량 강화와 지역사회 복지 증진을 위해 지역 유관기관과 잇따라 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하며 지역 기반 협력 네트워크를 확대했다.

이날 대구사이버대는 경북지역아동센터협의회와 지역아동센터 경북지원단과 3자 협약을 체결한 데 이어, 사회복지법인 굿네이버스 경북서부지부와도 협약을 맺어 교육·복지 분야 협력 체계를 한층 강화했다.

먼저 대구사이버대와 경북지역아동센터협의회, 지역아동센터 경북지원단은 지역아동센터의 안정적인 운영과 종사자 전문성 강화를 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다. 세 기관은 각자의 전문성과 교육·인적 자원을 연계해 지속 가능한 협력 기반을 구축하고, 종사자 역량 강화를 체계적으로 지원한다는 방침이다.

협약에 따라 ▲지역아동센터 종사자 자격증 취득 과정 지원 ▲역량 강화를 위한 교육 자원 연계 ▲경북지역아동센터협의회 및 경북지원단 임직원과 그 가족, 센터 회원 및 종사자를 대상으로 한 산학협약 장학금 지원 ▲기타 공동 협력 사업 등이 단계적으로 추진된다.

이어 체결된 굿네이버스 경북서부지부와의 협약을 통해서는 지역사회 인적·물적 자원을 연계해 복지와 교육 분야의 전문성을 바탕으로 지역아동센터 맞춤형 지원사업을 추진할 계획이다. 주요 협력 내용은 ▲지역사회 자원 연계·활용 ▲맞춤형 지원사업 추진 ▲기타 공동사업 추진 등이다.

전종국 대구사이버대학교 부총장은 “이번 협약은 대학의 교육 역량이 지역사회 복지 현장과 유기적으로 결합되는 의미 있는 사례”라며 “지역아동센터 종사자와 지역사회 구성원에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 교육·복지 협력 모델을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

송일수 굿네이버스 경북서부지부 본부장도 “대구사이버대학교와의 협력을 통해 지역 아동과 지역사회를 위한 실질적인 지원이 확대될 것으로 기대한다”며 “현장 중심의 협력으로 지역사회에 긍정적인 변화를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

대구사이버대학교는 앞으로도 지역 유관기관과의 협력을 통해 교육과 복지가 선순환하는 지속 가능한 지역 상생 모델 구축에 힘쓸 계획이다.
