【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구 덕희학교가 지난 10월 29일과 30일 양일간 다누리홀에서 심리운동 활동을 접목한 색다른 운동회를 성공적으로 마쳤다.

이번 운동회는 아람언어심리발달센터 사현우 센터장과 대구사이버대학교 심리운동학과(학과장 김민석)가 협력해 기획·운영했으며, 심리운동학과 학부생들도 프로그램 전반에 참여해 현장 지원에 나섰다.

심리운동은 독일에서 시작된 움직임 중심 교육 접근법으로, 학생을 발달과 학습의 주체로 보고 자율성과 자발성을 존중하며 전인적 성장을 돕는 것이 특징이다. 이번 운동회는 경쟁보다 경험 중심의 활동으로 구성돼, 학생들이 다양한 감각·놀이형 움직임 프로그램을 통해 협력, 소통, 자기 이해, 타인과 함께하는 즐거움을 체험하도록 설계됐다.

덕희학교 전 교직원과 학부모 자원봉사자들이 안전과 심리적 안정을 지원하며 ‘함께 만드는 운동회’의 의미를 더했으며, 학생들은 자신감과 성취감을 얻고 긍정적 변화를 보여주었다.

사현우 센터장은 “학생들이 자신감과 긍정적 성공 경험을 쌓고, 타인과 함께하는 소중한 관계를 배우는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”고 평가했으며, 김민석 학과장은 “학교와 대학, 발달지원기관의 협력을 기반으로 심리운동의 적용과 확장을 이어갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

이번 운동회는 국내 특수학교에서 심리운동 원리와 구조를 전면 적용한 최초 사례로, 전국 특수학교에 적용 가능한 ‘심리운동 중심 체육활동 프로그램’의 선도적 모델로 주목된다.

Daegu Deokhee School successfully held a unique sports day incorporating psychomotor activities at Danuri Hall on October 29th and 30th. This sports day was planned and organized in collaboration between Director Sa Hyun-woo of the Aram Language and Psychological Development Center and Daegu Cyber ​​University's Department of Psychomotor Activities (Department Head Kim Min-seok).
