【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 제24대 총학생회(회장 박상욱) 주관으로 지난 1일 부산 중구 가톨릭센터 3층 강당에서 ‘부울경(부산·울산·경남) 지역간담회’를 성황리에 개최했다.

이번 행사는 지역 재학생과 동문 간의 교류를 활성화하고, 온라인 학습의 한계를 넘어 학습 노하우를 공유하며 대학에 대한 소속감과 애교심을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 간담회에는 이근용 총장을 비롯해 윤은경 대학원장, 도진우 사무처장, 학과 교수진 등이 참석했으며, 부산·울산·경남 지역 재학생과 동문 등 110여 명이 함께해 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

행사 1부에서는 ‘40계단–국제시장–책방골목’ 등 부산의 대표 명소를 탐방하며 지역의 역사와 문화를 체험하는 도심 투어 프로그램이 진행됐다. 이어 본행사에서는 ▲학교 홍보영상 상영 ▲총장 인사말 및 총학생회 회장 개회사 ▲2026학년도 입시 안내 ▲졸업생 및 총동창회 특강 ▲음악 힐링 프로그램 등 다채로운 순서가 이어졌다.

특히 대학원 졸업생 김주현 씨는 ‘졸업생이 풀어주는 학업 이야기’ 특강을 통해 사이버대학 환경 속에서도 꾸준히 학업을 이어가는 비결과 마음가짐을 전하며 큰 공감을 얻었다. 또한 부산 출신 김혜정 작가가 진행한 ‘음악과 함께하는 힐링 프로그램’은 가을 정취와 어우러진 플룻 연주로 따뜻한 분위기를 자아내며 큰 호응을 받았다.

한 참가자는 “가을 분위기와 어울리는 음악이 인상 깊었고, 온라인에서만 뵙던 교수님과 동문을 직접 만나 교류할 수 있어 뜻깊었다”고 소감을 전했다.

이근용 총장은 축사에서 “사이버대학의 강점은 온라인 학습의 유연함에 있지만, 이렇게 직접 만나 서로의 열정과 온기를 나누는 자리가 교육의 가치를 완성한다”며 “앞으로도 학생 중심의 소통과 참여 문화를 강화해 따뜻한 대학 공동체를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

박상욱 총학생회장은 “이번 지역간담회를 통해 학생 간 유대감이 더욱 깊어졌고, 학교에 대한 소속감과 자긍심이 한층 높아졌다”며 “앞으로도 지역별 교류 행사를 지속적으로 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

김종윤 총동창회장 역시 “오랜만에 동문과 재학생이 한자리에 모여 매우 기쁘다”며 “대구사이버대학교에 대한 애교심을 가지고 생활하길 바란다”고 전했다.

마지막으로 3부에서는 학과별 소규모 간담회와 만찬이 이어졌으며, 재학생과 졸업생이 학업·진로·학교생활에 대해 진솔한 대화를 나누며 하루 일정을 마무리했다. 이번 간담회는 재학생과 동문이 서로의 경험을 공유하고 유대감을 다지는 ‘힐링의 장’으로 의미를 더했다.
