【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 지난 14일 대구 MH컨벤션 리젠시홀에서 ‘2025학년도 전체 교직원 워크숍 및 DCU 서포터즈 발대식’을 열고 대학의 발전 전략을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.

행사에는 이근용 총장을 비롯해 전종국 부총장, 윤은경 대학원장, 박상희 교학처장, 김한양 기획입시처장, 도진우 사무처장 등 주요 보직자와 교직원 100여 명이 참석해 지난 한 해의 성과를 되돌아보고 2026학년도 대학 운영 방향을 논의했다.

워크숍은 개회식과 국민의례를 시작으로 총장 인사말, 축사, DCU 서포터즈 발대식, 2026학년도 입시전략 발표, 교직원 단합 행사 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됐다.

2025학년도 DCU 서포터즈는 총 34명으로 구성됐으며, 박상욱 총학생회장이 단장으로, 김종윤 총동창회장이 홍보 엠버서더로 위촉됐다. 서포터즈는 대학 홍보와 브랜드 가치 제고를 위한 공식 홍보대사 역할을 맡게 된다.

입시전략 발표에서는 △대학 중·단기 발전계획(2024~2027) 연계 특성화 강화 △장애인 특별전형 모집 확대 △지역 기반 학습모델 구축 △대구사이버대학교·대구대학교 공동 홍보캐릭터 활용 △서포터즈 활동을 통한 재학생 추천 홍보 강화 등 구체적인 전략이 공유됐다.

이근용 총장은 “어려운 교육 환경에서도 헌신해주신 교직원 여러분께 감사드린다”며 “DCU 서포터즈가 학생의 목소리를 대학 정책과 소통시키는 중요한 역할을 해주길 바란다”고 말했다.

박상욱 총학생회장은 “서포터즈 단장으로 활동하게 돼 영광”이라며 “학생 관점에서 유익한 콘텐츠를 제작해 대학 프로그램을 더 효과적으로 알리겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

한편 2025학년도 DCU 서포터즈는 입시설명회 및 지역 행사 참여, 홍보 콘텐츠 제작, 봉사활동, 협약기관 홍보 등 다양한 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

대구사이버대학교는 오는 12월 1일부터 2026년 1월 8일까지 2026학년도 1학기 신·편입생을 모집하며, 지원은 입학지원센터 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 가능하다.

Student Body President Park Sang-wook said, "It's an honor to serve as the leader of the supporters. We will create useful content from a student perspective to promote the university's programs more effectively."

Meanwhile, the 2025 DCU Supporters will engage in various activities, including attending admissions information sessions and local events, creating promotional content, volunteering, and promoting partner institutions.
