곽상도 의원이 사퇴를 하면서 내년 대선과 동시에 재.보궐이 예정된 대구 중남구 지역에 그동안 각처에서 출마했던 여성 인사들이 자천 타천 거론되고 있다.

먼저 수성을 당협위원장인 이인선 위원장과 비례대표 국회의원인 조명희 의원이 거론되고 있다. 여기에 이진숙 전 대전MBC 사장과 이두아 변호사의 이름도 오르내린다.
