【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국회 여성가족위원회(위원장 이인선)가 아이돌봄 지원법 개정안을 의결했다고 밝혔다.

해당 법안은 지난 총선에서 국민의힘이 공약했던 내용으로, 22대 국회 개원과 동시에 저출생 1호로 당론 발의한 법안이다.

아이돌봄서비스는 맞벌이 가정 및 양육 공백이 있는 가정의 아이에게 돌봄 서비스를 제공하는 사업으로, 수요자들의 만족도가 높아 다수의 대기가 발생하는 상황이다.

이에 국민의힘에서는 아이돌봄서비스 공급을 늘리고 안전한 양육환경 확보를 위해 해당 법안을 마련했다.

아이돌봄 서비스의 전문성과 신뢰성을 강화하는 데 중점을 둔 개정안은 아이돌봄사 국가자격제도를 도입해 전문성을 높이고, 관련 종사자들의 긍지를 높이기 위해 ‘아이돌보미’ 명칭을 ‘아이돌봄사’로 변경하는 내용이 포함된다.

또한 아이돌봄서비스제공기관 등록제를 도입하고, 등록기관에 속한 육아도우미와 기관 종사자에 대해서도 아이돌봄사의 결격사유 적용 및 범죄경력 조회 근거를 마련했다.

아울러 아이돌봄사 건강진단 및 보수교육, 실태조사 및 만족도 조사 등 관련 규정을 정비해 서비스 품질의 지속적인 향상을 도모한다.

이인선 여성가족위원장은 “우리 사회가 아이를 안심하고 키울 수 있는 환경을 만드는 것은 단순한 정책을 넘어 미래 세대를 위한 투자이자 필수적인 국가적 과제”라며 “법안이 현장에서 실질적인 변화를 만들어 낼 수 있도록, 정부와 관계기관이 책임감을 가지고 시행해주시길 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
