국민의힘 대구시당은 2일 오전 11시 수성구 수성시장에서 전통시장 장보기 행사를 열었다. 

행사에는 이인선 위원장을 비롯한 부위원장단, 대변인단, 상설위원회 등 80여 명이 참여했다.

이 위원장은 “재래시장은 단순한 장터가 아니라 시민들의 삶과 정이 오가는 공동체 공간”이라며 “시민들이 안심하고 전통시장을 찾을 수 있는 활기찬 환경을 만드는 것이 중요하다”고 말했다.

같은 날 오후 1시에는 진보당 대구시당이 동대구역 광장에서 귀성객들에게 추석 인사를 전했다.

황순규 위원장은 “가족과 지인들과 따뜻한 시간을 보내기엔 현실이 아직 넉넉하지 않다”며 민생의 어려움을 언급하고, “이번 명절만큼은 국민 모두가 경제와 주권을 지키는 뜻을 모아 달라”고 당부했다.

더불어민주당 대구시당은 연휴 시작일인 3일 오후 3시 동대구역 3번 게이트 앞에서 귀성객들과 만날 예정이다. 

이번 행사에는 지역위원장과 시당 상무위원, 지방의원, 사무국장, 지역 당원 등이 참여해 시민들에게 따뜻한 명절 인사를 전할 계획이다.

Political parties in the Daegu region shared a warm holiday atmosphere by directly communicating with citizens during Chuseok, the nation's biggest holiday.

The Daegu City Chapter of the People Power Party held a traditional market shopping event at Suseong Market in Suseong District at 11:00 AM on the 2nd.

Approximately 80 people, including Chairman Lee In-sun, vice-chairmen, spokespersons, and standing committee members, participated in the event.

Chairman Lee stated, "Traditional markets are not simply marketplaces; they are community spaces where citizens' lives and feelings intertwine. It is important to create a vibrant environment where citizens can safely visit traditional markets."

At 1:00 PM that same day, the Daegu City Chapter of the Progressive Party extended Chuseok greetings to returning home at Dongdaegu Station Plaza.

Chairman Hwang Soon-gyu acknowledged the difficulties facing the people, stating, "The current situation is not yet conducive to spending warm times with family and friends." He added, "I urge all citizens to unite in protecting the economy and sovereignty during this holiday season."

The Daegu City Chapter of the Democratic Party of Korea plans to meet with returning hometown residents at 3:00 PM on the 3rd, the first day of the holiday, in front of Gate 3 of Dongdaegu Station.

The event will be attended by regional committee members, city party executive committee members, local council members, the secretary general, and local party members, who will offer warm holiday greetings to residents.
