【브레이크뉴스 의성】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 이재명 대표가 27일 경북 의성을 찾아 산불 피해 현장을 살폈다.

이날 이 대표는 경북 의성 고운사에서 주지 등운 스님을 만나 예산 지원을 위한 협조를 약속했다.

그는 “역사상 최악의 재난”이라며 “피해 지역과 시설에 대해 예산 걱정을 하지 않도록 국회에서 최선을 다해 잘 준비하겠다”고 말했다.

이어 점곡체육회관에서 이재민들을 만나 “나라에서 상당한 기간 동안 먹고 입고 자는 것을 다 책임질 것”이라며 “집을 다시 짓는 것도 지원 할 것”이라고 말했다.

아울러 “의성군수님과 경북도지사께서도 신경쓰고 있고 정부에서도 그렇게 하도록 저희가 최선을 다하겠다”며 “정부 입장에서는 큰 돈이 아니니 최대한 예산을 확보해서 지원하도록 하겠다”고 약속했다.
