【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 우재준 청년최고위원이 청년이 주도적으로 만든 정책을 당의 공약에 반영하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
우 최고위원은 9일 국회의원회관에서 여의도연구원과 함께 ‘청년 정책 제안 세미나’를 열고, 청년 13명이 직접 작성한 정책 보고서를 당 지도부에 전달했다.
이날 전달된 보고서는 2개월간 1대1 멘토링 과정을 거쳐 완성됐다. 보고서에는 고립·은둔 청년 지원, 창업 재도전, 금융·경제 교육, 개인형 이동장치 안전, 디지털 광고 피해 방지 등 청년의 다양한 현실적 과제가 담겼다.
우 최고위원은 "청년 당사자가 현장의 문제를 가장 잘 안다"며 "이번에 제안된 정책을 앞으로 공약과 입법 과정에서 적극 반영하겠다"고 말했다.
조승환 여의도연구원장도 "청년이 직접 문제를 발굴하고 논거를 세우며, 해결 방안까지 제시했다"며 "여연은 이들이 제안한 내용을 현실 정책으로 이을 수 있도록 가교 역할을 하겠다"고 했다.
양향자 최고위원은 "청년들의 제안이 자신만을 위한 것이 아니라 더 많은 이들에게도 유익한 방향을 고민했다는 점이 인상적이었다"고 밝혔다.
